Libyan Plane Hijacked and taken to Malta

An Afriqiyah Airways flight with 118 people onboard has been forced to land in Malta after two men reportedly threatens to blow up the plane using a hand grenade and keep the passengers hostage if their unknown demands are not met.

Maltese Prime Minister Joseph Muscat tweeted: "Informed of potential hijack situation of a Libya internal flight diverted to Malta. Security and emergency operations standing by -JM".
