*"Our Journey Together is so Short"*
A young lady sat in a bus. At the next stop a loud and grumpy old lady came and sat by her. She squeezed into the seat and bumped her with her numerous bags.
The person sitting on the other side of the young lady got upset, asked her why she did not speak up and say something.
The young lady responded with a smile:
"It is not necessary to be rude or argue over something so insignificant, the journey together is so short. I get off at the next stop."
This response deserves to be written in golden letters:
*"It is not necessary to argue over something so insignificant, our journey together is so short"*
If each one of us realized that our time here is so short; that to darken it with quarrels, futile arguments, not forgiving others, discontentment and a fault finding attitude would be a waste of time and energy.
Did someone break your heart? *Be calm, the journey is so short.*
Did someone betray, bully, cheat or humiliate you? *Be calm, forgive, the journey is so short.*
Whatever troubles anyone brings us, let us remember that *our journey together is so short.*
No one knows the duration of this journey. No one knows when their stop will come. *Our journey together is so short.*
Let us cherish friends and family. Let us be respectful, kind and forgiving to each other. Let us be filled with gratitude and gladness.
If I have ever hurt you, I ask for your forgiveness. If you have ever hurt me, I have already forgotten about it.
After all, *Our Journey Together is Short!*
*A touching story. Must read.* When the gentleman was 45 years old his wife suddenly passed away.....
His relatives and friends advised him to remarry and settle down.
He advised all in the negative and told them that he had only one son
And my son is a gift to me from my wife,
I will look after him well and my life will be successful with his success.
Son grows up...gets married in grand style and the father handed over his well established business to his son and retired.
After a year or so the father had his breakfast a bit early one morning
After starting his breakfast he requested his daughter in law for curd ......if it was there
His daughter in law said there was no curd....this was heard by his son...who was entering the dining area for breakfast.
After the father had his breakfast the son and his wife sat down to have breakfast....on the breakfast table there was a bowl of curd.
After having his breakfast and with no comments, the son also left home for office. That day and night the son pondered over curd matter.
Next day the son requested his father to accompany him to the court to get married.
His father told him "I do not need a second marriage at this age and I give you all the love, you do not need a mother.
What is the use of the second marriage ?"
The son replied him politely...father I am not getting a mother for myself or a wife for you....i am only trying my best so that you get your bowl of curd everyday.
From tomorrow me and my wife will move to a rented apartment and I shall work in your office as a worker who will be paid wages,so that your daughter in law knows the value of a bowl of curd.
Parents can be ATM cards for their children but children need to be adhar cards for their parents......

The sixth Cartosat-2 series satellite
Launch - 10 things to know
1. This sixth Cartosat-2 series satellite weighs 712 kg and the 30 nano 'co-passenger' satellites that will be launched with it together weigh 243 kg
2. Of the 30 nano satellites that will be launched, 29 are foreign and one is Indian
3. The 29 international nano satellites being launched are part of the commercial arrangements between ISRO's commercial arm, the Antrix Corporation Ltd and 14 international customers. These customers are Austria, Belgium, Britain, Chile, Czech Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Italy, Japan, Latvia, Lithuania, Slovakia, and the US
4. The Indian nano satellite, the 15 kg NIUSAT, belongs to Tamil Nadu's Nooral Islam University. It will provide multi-spectral imagery for agricultural crop monitoring and disaster management support applications
5. This satellite will be launched by the Indian Space Research Organisation's (ISRO) Polar Satellite Launch Vehicle, which will be on its 40th flight.
6. This latest satellite has a resolution of 0.6 metres, which means it can spot very small objects. "Defence surveillance will get a leg-up. It can be used in identifying terrorist camps and bunkers... some formations," an ISRO official said
7. To get an idea of what ISRO means by "very small", it's worth noting that the previous satellite in the series, which had a resolution of 0.8 metres, took images that helped India carry out its precise strikes on seven terror camps across the Line of Control last year
8. The Cartosat-2 series satellites are extremely "agile", said the ISRO official. That means they can be programmed to take very specific pictures of very specific designated areas
9. Not only will the images it takes be specific, this Cartosat-2 satellite's photos will be high resolution as well. The ISRO official succinctly defined it thus: "High-resolution scene specific spot imagery"
10. With Friday's launch, the total number of spacecraft missions launched by ISRO will go up to 90
There was a Bus Conductor, who was Very Rude to his passengers.
One day, a Beautiful Young Girl, of around 18 Years, tried to board the bus, but he didn't stop
Unfortunately, the beautiful young girl came under the bus and died on the spot.
Angry passengers took the conductor to the police station, who in turn took him to the court.
The Judge was not at all impressed with him and gave him capital punishment.
He was taken to the electrocution chamber. There was a single chair in the center of the room. The conductor was strapped to the chair and high voltage current was given to him. But, to everyone's amazement, he survived. The judge decided to set him free, and he returned to his profession.
A couple of months later, an elderly gentleman tried to board the bus.
This time the Bus conductor, remembering his earlier experience stopped the bus. Unfortunately, the elderly gentleman slipped and died due to his injuries.
The conductor was taken to the police station and then to the court, to the same judge.
Though, he hadn't done anything wrong, but considering his past record the judge decided to set an example and gave him capital punishment.
The Bus conductor was again taken to the same electrocution chamber where there was a single chair in the center of the room. He was strapped to the chair and high voltage current was given to him.
This time he died instantly.....!!!!!
The question is why didn't he die on the first occasion..?? but, died instantly the second time....??
Okay........ here is the Answer............
During the first time The Conductor was a *Bad Conductor,* therefore electricity didn't pass through him.
But, during the second time, he was a *Good Conductor*, so electricity passed through him freely and he died !!!!

My wife called, 'How long will you be with that newspaper? Will you come here and make your darling daughter eat her food?
I tossed the paper away and rushed to the scene. My only daughter, Sindu, looked frightened; tears were welling up in her eyes.
In front of her was a bowl filled to its brim with curd rice. Sindu is a nice child, quite and intelligent for her age.
I picked up the bowl. 'Sindu, darling, why don't you take a few mouthful of this curd rice? Just for Dad's sake, dear'.
Sindu softened a bit and wiped her tears with the back of her hands. 'Ok, Dad. I will eat - not just a few mouthfuls, but the whole lot of this. But, you should...' Sindu hesitated...... 'Dad, if I eat this entire curd Rice, will you give me whatever I ask for?'
'Promise'. I covered the pink soft hand extended by my daughter with mine, and clinched the deal.
Now I became a bit anxious. 'Sindu, dear, you shouldn't insist on getting a computer or any such expensive items. Dad does not have that kind of money right now. Ok?'
'No, Dad. I do not want anything expensive.'
Slowly and painfully, she finished eating the whole quantity. I was silently angry with my wife and my mother for forcing my child to eat something that she detested.
After the ordeal was through, Sindu came to me with her eyes wide with expectation. All our attention was on her.
'Dad, I want to have my head shaved off, this Sunday!' was her demand.
'Atrocious!' shouted my wife, 'A girl child having her head shaved off? Impossible!'
'Never in our family!' My mother rasped. 'She has been watching too much of television. Our culture is getting totally spoiled with these TV programs!'
'Sindu, darling, why don't you ask for something else? We will be sad seeing you with a clean-shaven head.'
'Please, Sindu, why don't you try to understand our feelings?' I tried to plead with her.
'Dad, you saw how difficult it was for me to eat that Curd Rice'. Sindu was in tears. 'And you promised to grant me whatever I ask for. Now, you are going back on your words.
"Was it not you who told me the story of King Harishchandra, and its moral that we should honor our promises no matter what?'
It was time for me to call the shots. 'Our promise must be kept.'
'Are you out of your mind?' chorused my mother and wife.
'No. If we go back on our promises, she will never learn to honour her own. Sindu, your wish will be fulfilled.'
With her head clean-shaven, Sindu had a round-face, and her eyes looked big and beautiful.
On Monday morning, I dropped her at her school. It was a sight to watch my hairless Sindu walking towards her classroom. She turned around and waved. I waved back with a smile.
Just then, a boy alighted from a car, and shouted, 'Sinduja, please wait for me!' What struck me was the hairless head of that boy. 'May be, that is the in-stuff', I thought.
A lady got out of car and came to me. She said 'Sir, your daughter Sinduja is great indeed! That boy who is walking along with your daughter is my son, Harish. He is suffering from... leukemia'. She paused to muffle her sobs.
'Harish could not attend the school for the whole of the last month. He lost all his hair due to the side effects of the chemotherapy. He refused to come back to school fearing the unintentional but cruel teasing of the schoolmates.
...... Sinduja visited him last week, and promised him that she will take care of the teasing issue.....
"But, I never imagined she would sacrifice her lovely hair for the sake of my son! Sir, you and your wife are blessed to have such a noble soul as your daughter.'
I stood transfixed with tears 'My little Angel, you are teaching me how selfless real love is!'

At least six people were dead and 31 missing after a tourist boat sank in a reservoir in northwestern Colombia on Sunday, the country's president said. Authorities did not yet say what caused the four-deck Almirante to go down in the El Penol reservoir in the tourist town of Guatape, where Colombian and foreign tourists take leisure cruises. There are "six people deceased so far and 31 reported missing," Santos told reporters in Guatape, after the regional government earlier gave a death toll of at least nine.
An official in the National Risk Management Unit, Carlos Ivan Marquez, confirmed the toll of six separately to AFP. He said they were "all Colombians, and no minors."
