Pathankot: India links attack to talks
The government of India has included the Pathankot attack in the agenda of foreign secretaries level talks between India and Pakistan, which takes place next week. This would be a first of its kind meeting between the two nations where India has linked the attack to important discussions.
New Delhi, Jan 5 : The Congress on Tuesday urged Prime Minister Narendra Modi to consult opposition parties on the terror attack on the Pathankot Air Force Base in Punjab in which seven security personnel have been killed.
"We urge Prime Minister Narendra Modi to take the nation into confidence and consult the leadership of the principal opposition parties on this matter," said Congress spokesperson Anand Sharma.
