New Delhi : A Delhi court has issued a non-bailable warrant against businessman Vijay Mallya for evading summons in a Foreign Exchange Regulation Act (FERA) violation matter.
The court said that "he has scant regard for the law of the land and has no intention to return to India."
"Mallya's claim that he wants to return to India, but his passport has been revoked was mala Fide and abuse of process," the court said.

June 15: A special court on Tuesday has been charged with offences on Indian businessman Vijay Mallya
under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act (PMLA) and declared him as "proclaimed offender".
Over the last three months, Mallya has ignored three summons by the Enforcement Directorate (ED) and a non-bailable warrant (NBW). But as of now, he was ordered to appear in the court within next 30 days or all his properties around the world, even the things which is not included in the crime will be ceased by ED. The tag "proclaimed offender" would also make the process of extradition move faster.
London : The Liquor baron Vijay Mallya has said he is in a "forced exile" and he has no plans to return to India .
"I definitely would like to return India .Right now ,things are flying me at fast and furious .My passport has been revoked .I don't know what the government is going to do next," he told.
