Though India and China continue to militarily reinforce their positions in the wake of an ongoing stand-off over Doklam region, Indian Army has denied ordering the evacuation of some villages near the Sikkim-Bhutan-Tibet tri-junction.
Some news channels quoted government sources as saying that there has been "some build-up" in terms of movement of additional troops and tanks as well as artillery and air defence units in the Tibet Military District by the People's Liberation Army (PLA).
However, the sources also claimed that there is "no major mobilization" towards the Line of Actual Control as yet.
China's world's largest radio telescope, due to begin operations in September. The world's largest telescope built in China, has a reflector of the size of 30 football fields. The telescope is poised for a trial-run as installation work has been completed after the last of 4,450 panels was fitted into the centre of the big dish on Sunday.
It was a landmark step for the telescope's planned launch of operations in September, state-run Xinhua news agency reported.
