Jodhpur: A 20-year-old girl was burnt alive in Jodhpur on Sunday after she allegedly protested over cutting of trees at Pipda city. The incident has generated lot of shock and anger among public.
As per reports, the incident occurred on Sunday when 20-year-old Lalita protested against cutting of trees in her farm. The trees were reportedly being cut for construction of a road near the village, around 100 km from Jodhpur. The argument escalated and the villagers allegedly attacked her, poured petrol on her and set her on fire. She died in the morning.
