Rs.587 crore for India-Bangladesh rail link: Minister newsreporter.in

New Delhi, March 3 : The Centre will provide Rs.587 crore for a rail project to link India and Bangladesh, union minister Jitendra Singh said on Thursday.

The project, one of the most important under the 'Act East' policy of the Narendra Modi government, will help boost trade, cultural and social ties between the two countries, the minister of state for development of north eastern region (DoNER) said.
