Rajasthan boils at 51 degree celsius records ever highest temperature

Jaipur: Severe heat waves continues to affect the normal life in Rajasthan. Phalodi in Jodhpur records the maximum temperature of 51 degree celsius, which is highest recorded temperature in the country since 1956. The capital of the state, Jaipur records the hottest day in the last 11 years,  registering 46.5 degrees Celsius.


Phalodi was followed by Churu recording 50.2 degree celsius, Bikaner and Barmer had touched 49.5, Ganganagar at 49.1, Jaisalmer at 49 and Kota at 48.2 degrees Celsius.
