600 Stranded Indian to be airlifted from South Sudan

July 14: The Ministry of External Affairs has arranged two C-17 aircrafts to evacuate 600 stranded Indian citizens from Juba, capital of South Sudan, where a week long civil war has been proclaimed due to severe confront between two factions.

Gen (Retd) VK Singh, Minister of State in External Affairs Ministry is undertaking the evacuation operation and has confirmed that the heavy-lift Indian Air Force aircraft, C-17 will reach Juba on July 14th and get back to the nation on July 15th after picking the 600 odd Indian citizens.
